Standardized testing aggregate results demonstrate that our students perform above grade level. However, we recognize that each student has their own learning style and aptitude. Emphasis on fundamentals
In the lower grades, mastery of fundamentals is critical to future academic success. Emphasis is placed on formation of excellent reading and arithmetic skills as well as setting a firm foundation in many subjects, including STEM, Bible, history, and others. Academic distinctives

FLCS integrates the linear study of history with biblical history, since all things relate to Christ. Reading assignments, including original source documents and all types of literature, often relate to the period of history being studied.
