Growing in faith and wisdom in the early elementary grades

Mastering the fundamentals

If you ask an early elementary teacher what they love about their job, you'll find them smiling. The children!

In the elementary years, children are naturally curious learning sponges. In sync with this developmental stage, a strong foundation in core subjects is built to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead.

One of our highest priorities is to develop strong readers who are well-versed in grammar, a critical factor for future academic success in every subject. In addition, we focus on development of strong mathematics skills and core knowledge in science, history, and literature.

FLCS believes that the education of the whole child is vital. Physical education, music, and art are important components of our curriculum.

Faith formation is central to the mission of our school. Students engage in daily devotional activities, Bible instruction, and attend chapel weekly.
